Parc Cefn Onn: Improvements to Country Park Entrance Area

The Park is given over mainly to woodland, shrubs and ponds although all areas are fully accessible to the general public by a recently upgraded network of footpaths which are disabled friendly. It is situated to the north of Cardiff and is listed as a grade 2 site on the register of Historic Parks and Gardens in Wales by CADW. The entrance and reception area to the park has become degraded over a perid of time to the extent where it is now at odds with the rest of the amenity; the project will pay for improvements to this area to enhance the amenity and make it more welcoming for local residents and visitors. This project is being sponsored by the local ‘friends’ group who enjoy a strong and growing support.
