Parc y Borth, Local Nature Reserve

The Friends of Borth y Gest and the LNR warden have been preparing a management plan for the second LNR which borders the village from the north. This site is in contrast to Pen y Banc LNR which was worked on last year, as it is a hill-top woodland. The site comprises several acres of wildflower meadow, all of which are completely accessible to the public. The proposals will enhance the visitor experience and strengthen the natural habitats by improving access; securing the meadow fencing & stonewalls; providing interpretive boards; controlling invasive species and securing grazing facilities.
