Parker Street

The project will create a pleasant and welcoming green entrance space on a local authority housing estate in ineer city Birmingham. This entrance space forms part of a joined network of green space projects on the estate arising from a master plan reflecting the residents’ vision to eventually transform all their shared open space to create a “garden estate”.
Through the delivery of this land improvement, the project also aims to bring about a new awareness amongst local residents and others about the special value of urban green infrastructure to health, well-being and biodiversity, especially in inner city environments.
