Parkside Ball Court

We are upgrading our football court improving recreational facilities in Seaham. The surface we have now is unacceptable for use due to risk of injury should the person slide. The installation of a 3G surface will allow the area to be used by a variety of users for multi sports
This provides a much needed recreational facility for the community and generates a long term sustainable income for the community centre.
We focus on sports for children and young people. We will link in with local sports clubs/volunteers to deliver high class fun activities for children and young people in Seaham. The ball court will also be available for use to centre users as part of their hiring agreement, ensuring that the members of the local community will be able to use the facility.
We will also install higher fences and a roof net to reduce vandalism (thus reducing maintenance costs) and keep the ball in the court helping our neighbours.
