Parkwood Pride

Parkwood Springs in Sheffield’s ‘Central park’ with over 144 hectares of accessible open green space and fantastic views over the City. However, the site has had a chequered history and current issues around vandalism, dumping and illegal vehicles detract from its value. This project will help to overcome some of the negative perceptions of the site, by engaging a group of young people who will take ownership and responsibility for improving an element of the site, particularly around promoting the positive use of the site by young people. We will enable the group to achieve their vision together.
