Parton Village Hall Culvert Project

Unfortunately since October 2004 residents in Parton have suffered because of flooding. The flooding has been caused by heavy rain, high tides and an inadequate and blocked drainage system.
The group have already completed a huge part of the work along with the Parish Council and local residents and they now wish to complete the project as there is no longer any funding available for them. They now wish to recover the open culvert, making it safe and secure again and to build in a manhole to enable effective drain maintenance. This will allow free access to the village hall and the disabled access will be available once more.
