Patchway Parade Regeneration Project, Merlin Housing, Chipping Sodbury, South Glos

The Parade is an area of land based at the heart of a housing estate, located next to shops and flats. The area is overgrown and residents report that they feel unsafe and would like to make improvements to the area. There are raised beds located in the site which a green space worker and local children are currently improving and growing vegetables. The applicant would like to work with the community and businesses to improve the area and use the other raised beds to grow smaller plants and vegetables with the help of local community volunteers.
