Path creation and associated biodiversity works

The project will create a new walking route to Cave Hill Country Park, connecting the local community with the existing green space. At present there is no formal path from the top of the Crumlin Road to Carr’s Glen. The route is waymarked as part of the long distance route between Ligoniel Dams and Belfast Zoo.

In addition to improving the access, the project will improve the grassland by reseeding the area with native wildflowers and fine grass mix as well as woodland bulbs and trees.
