The Monmouthshire and Brecon Canals Regeneration Partnership’s objective is to complete restoration of the whole canal from Brecon to Newport and to Cwmcarn on the Crumlin arm of the canal. The project ‘Pathway to social inclusion & regeneration of the Crumlin canal arm’ is part of a major initiative to encompass an innovative training scheme to assist the communities socially excluded becoming employable and accepted in the community through hands on construction, education and motivation skills.
