Pavilion Refurbishment and Extension, Earls Colne Tennis Club, Colchester

The project is to refurbish and extend the Earls Colne Recreation Club. The existing building was built by the Hunt Foundry in 1977 and is now in a poor state of repair. The proposal is to refurbish and extend it to provide a larger building to include a kitchen and WC/shower facility, as well as to provide shelter for up to thirty people at any one time. By retaining the existing frame, floor and roof, it will reduce waste and maintain the existing character of the original building. The aim the project is to provide modern facilities for existing members and to attract new members to the club.
