Pawlett Pavilion Sports and Social Club – Additional play equipment

Addition of a roundabout and basket swing to the existing children’s play area
The play area is next to the primary school and get very busy. The basket swing is also suitable for disabled access.
The area being updated only has a few amenities for the children. These two new items will make the area much more interesting and fun. The basket is also DDA compliant allowing more inclusivity. The corner shaped seat will be moved to a different part of the play area, and the new equipment will be sited in that corner. The fence has already been moved over to create enough space.
At present there is often more children present after school than facilities for them to use. The additional play equipment will benefit the community hugely by allowing the children to play outside for longer.
