Peace Oak Orchard well

To install a well with a solar-powered pump to ensure a reliable source of water for watering the allotments and new planting on the Peace Oak field during prolonged dry weather. There is no mains water on the site and we have decided that a well is a more sustainable and responsible solution to complement our existing rainwater storage during periods of very dry weather, and will be a long-term solution to increased dry springs and summers predicted with climate change. The Peace Oak Orchard is a two acre piece of land in the centre of Eynsham which was donated two years ago to a newly formed charity whose purpose is to create an orchard, shared growing plots and quiet spaces for the benefit of the community and to preserve the beautiful site In perpetuity.
