The poject aims to:-
Restore Molinia dominated blanket bog on a target area of 1000ha’s
Draw up Fire Plan with stakeholders, carry out fire control work on the ground and manage bracken and gorse in sensitive areas.
Therefore protecting and enhancing mires, flushes and streams supporting a range of scarce and rare lower plants as well as protecting and enhancing upland bird habitat.
