Peel Park Playground

Peel park is of huge heritage significance. Opened in 1846 as one of the first public parks in the world. The new vision for the park is to create an attractive, well used park for 21st century living providing a place for enjoyment, inspiration, reflection and a source of local pride . There will be ten pieces of equipment, each carefully selected to maximise the opportunities for all types of play from very active – swings, roundabouts, slides, rope swingers to more engrossing imaginative play – talking flowers, sand diggers and percussion play.
