Penketh Youth Centre, Warrington – Refurbishment (5798/D)

The Centre was built in the 1960s. The central heating system was installed at the time and the boiler is now over 45 years old. The electricity supply is also of a similar age. The ceiling in the main sports hall is damaged and requires replacement with nets strung across it to prevent balls from causing damage.

The project will see repairs to pipework and central heating system -plus new central heating boiler to serve 11 radiators. Gas Safety Certificate to be provided.

Rewiring of youth centre with installation of fuse box, circuit breakers and RCD – Electricity Certificate to be provided.

The Trust grant will contribute towards the refurbishment.

New ceiling and nets in sports hall.
