Pennine Bridleway Linking Route Town Bent to Hoyle Bottom

Working with Lancashire County Council we would like to upgrade an existing footpath to bridleway and carry out improvement works along it’s length to enable horse riders and cyclists to use it. The plan is to have a multi-user route suitable for all but still in keeping with the rural nature of the area. The route will form part of the wider Pennine Bridleway network and should encourage people from the local area to explore the surrounding countryside.
