Penruddock Village New Footpath Link

This project aims to provide a safe off-road link between the Station Road housing development and Penruddock village. This will be of most benefit to school children who will use the route on a daily basis during term time and it will also contribute to the safety of villagers, taking pedestrians off the main roads some of which have several blind spots. It will also provide another link in the public footpath network and will allow pedestrians to access local services in safety.

An informal muddy pathway is already in existence, but runs through overgrown and scrubby woodland. It is neither safe nor convenient and is probably impassable during the winter months because of its wet and muddy nature. This new path will be 200m in length and will be legally recorded as a public footpath.
