Pentrebane Zone, Cardiff – Entrance & Recyling

Convert side entrance into main entrance with energy efficiency measures for heat loss as it increases footfall into the centre as current entrance is hidden around the back. We would like to develop recycling of food waste from cafe and food provision and build a local plastic recycling workshop
We would like funding for the build of the entrance into the community centre, and the two recycling facilities to support the centres activitiy and community education and enterprise.
In our trial holding open side fire doors we increased our footfall by 300% over a week but increased heating two fold. The recycling projects are needed as we provide over 10 tonnes of redistributed food a week and have 6m3 of food waste to deal with.
