Peoples Park, Luton

Peoples Park is an open space in the north of Luton which is surrounded by housing but that does not have a very high visibility. This project will transform four entrances to the County Wildlife Site at the eastern end of the park from neighbouring residential streets and provide on-site interpretation to make the site far more welcoming to visitors and make it clear that the area is important for biodiversity. The implementation of this phase of work will also allow for further opportunities to provide volunteer involvement in the management of the site including by the recently formed and very supportive local residents association.
