Pepenbury Community Woodland Project

The project will improve Pepenbury’s public facilities and encourage more people to enjoy our natural woodlands and animal farm. The accessibility of the site will be improved to ensure all local people, particularly those with a disability, the elderly, families with young children and people with mental health issues can all benefit from being outdoors, in the fresh air, taking exercise and enjoying their natural environment. Specifically, we will:-Upgrade the existing access path to enable all, but particularly wheelchair and pushchair users and their families and carers, to access our Woodland facilities. – Install accessible play and sensory equipment for our clients and visitors to enjoy. – Put up environmental signage, in keeping with the natural environment, to inform and educate visitors about local flora, fauna, wildlife and animals.
