Perdiswell Skate Park Roof

The Skate Park was opened 2 years ago and attracts 100+ young people each weekday and 150+ on Saturday and Sunday the Youth Lodge is open every day of the week and is supervised by youth and play workers offering activities for young people. During wet weather the young people have nowhere to participate in their activity. When the Youth Opportunity Fund was announced by the government, youth workers held sessions on how young people in Worcestershire could spend £500,000 on activities or capital projects that would benefit them. A notice board was used to record their ideas; the majority wanted a roof put over the Skate Park so it could be used every day even when the weather is wet.
