Permissive Footpath from Kingston Blount to Crowell.

To provide a direct and safe walking route for the villagers of Lewknor, Aston Rowant, and Kingston Blount, Crowell and Chinnor and longer distance hikers. It will be a link path connecting a chain of footpaths along the Foot of the Chilterns connecting to the Ridgeway National Trail. It allows walkers to avoid a dangerous section of B4009 highway which has no pavements. It also provides a safe path for villagers to reach the Shepherd’s Crook pub, now all the pubs are permanently closed in Kingston Blount.
