Peters Marland Village Hall – Kitchen Roof Replacement

To replace the roof over the kitchen at Peter’s Marland Village Hall. The hall was built as the village school and headmaster’s accommodation around 150 years ago and is now an essential community amenity. The kitchen roof is in a very poor state and must be replaced in its entirety to include: scaffolding, removal and disposal of old roof, replace woodwork, battens, felt, slates, ridge tiles, leadwork, gutters, fascias and soffits. Insulation will be added. The kitchen is crucial for the success of social events and activities, which provide important opportunities to bring local people together. The hall is a designated emergency hub for the area and use of the kitchen is essential.
