Phase 11 – The Gateway: Scotland’s National Biodiversity Interpretation Centre

Phase 11 of the Gateway project is the construction through to completion stages of this project to provide, by Spring 2009, an environmental education and communication centre with new and greatly improved public amenities for local, national and interenational visitors to Edinburgh. Specific focus is on provision of new public amenities in the form of a Biodiversity Garden, Community Education room and teaching gardens as well as a ‘live’ education studio, exhibition areas, catering, retail and toilet facilities.
