Philips Park Cemetery, Manchester – Peace Garden Ramp

The Peace Garden is an area near the entrance where people like to sit and reflect in. The paving is uneven and broken and gets quite slippery. We would like to construct a smooth safe area to, Access for All standards. We feel this is an important issue for this garden and this would meet the needs of elderly and disabled users alike making it safe for everyone. The step up to the garden is currently 5.5 inches high and would be ramped in smooth resin stone.
