Philpot Square

This project is to transform an open space into a community activity square. This will include:
• Medium / low impact play equipment for under and over 7 year
• New planting beds throughout the play area to define various spaces
• Seating for residents to watch, socialise and enjoy nature and the outdoors
• Informal planting and seating space underneath trees

The toddler swing set currently in the space will be refurbished and incorporated into the new design, reducing costs and landfill waste.

The site is currently in a poor state of repair, with outdated play equipment and a slippery, uneven floor surface. The project would create an inspiring play area for children and recreational area for adults.
