Demolish the existing 86 year old lightweight timber building which reached the end of its economical life. The new build will demonstrate the application of sustainable construction techniques and design principles to minimize CO2 emissions, environmental impacts and reduction of energy consumption, incorporating ground sourced heat pump, solar panels and 60w wind turbine. Maximum use of recycled and renewable sourced building materials to create a flagship centre.
