Pilot North Lancashire Grassland Project

With the purchase of specialist equipment the Trust aims to start a programme of restoration and management on a number of key lowland neutral grassland sites in North Lancashire, to enhance, conserve and increase the area of this once widespread habitat in this part of the county. It is hoped that lessons learnt and information gathered from trialling various techniques and undertaking habitat monitoring can also be made available to project partners to inform future work and projects in the area.
