Pinemartin Activity Park

The project aims to transform the Pinemartin Close green space into a recreational community activity park incorporating a traditional play area, informal ball area, exercise facilities, and a wildlife corridor.

The proposed Pinemartin Activity Park is currently an under-used green space that lies in the heart of a mixed tenure landlord estate in the Dollis Hill ward. The estate is lowrise and comprises a mixture of houses and small blocks of flats these include 70 Stadium Housing properties, 284 Brent Housing Partnership (BHP) properties and 60 London and Quadrant (L&Q) properties.

At present the space provides no play or biodiviersity value for the local community. There was a play space on the site (see figure 1) several years ago but due to vandalism and anti social behaviour the play area equipment was removed and never replaced.
