Pinfold Project No 4 – Community Classroom

Over recent years we have increased our training input at Pinfold considerably. The garden management team operates from an old caravan, well past its sell by date, and training has been, of necessity, carried out outdoors or in the polytunnel. Indoor winter training is also restricted by lighting considerations. The project is to build a community classroom with space for a small office and to bring electricity to the site which is some distance from the main road. This will increase both the scope and quality of training to the benefit of the community. Additional funding will be supplied via Barnsley Neighbourhood Learning Net for fittings and furniture
