PIPS House Access Project

PIPS ( Pubic Initiative for the Prevention of Suicide and Self Harm) have created a community centre of excellence in North Belfast that will benefit people from across Northern Ireland and further afield. Two buildings are being refurbished in Duncairn Gardens on a very run down area of North Belfast which has suffered interface problems and has been badly impacted by the Troubles. PIPS will be a safe house on this interface open to the public at least 5 days a week. This grant will go towards the work at the front outside of the building – the creation of a ramp that will allow free access to the building, drainage, site works, landscaping and signage.
