Planting the Seed

Planting the Seed is a project to create an ‘eco hill’ as part of a wider Food For All eco park. The hill will consist of 7 large ponds containing natural reed bed water filters, plants and invertebrates required for a self cleaning eco environment. This will include solar powered fountains and lighting and adjacent herb gardens and plantings. Access paths to and within the area will be surfaced and certain flower beds raised to ensure access for all abilities to encourage use of the area including by the local residential care home and school group with specific mental and physical needs.
