Platforms for people at Carr Vale nature reserve

In order to enhance public facilities at Carr Vale we wish to replace four old fishing platforms with one large fishing/pond dipping platform. The old fishing platforms have been consistently well used over the years but are now in a sorry state and will have to be closed for health and safety reasons.

This project includes the provision of a new platform 2m x 6m, access steps down the steep bank and a safety sign. The platform will be suitable not only for fishing, but for schools and groups who wish to study the aquatic life present.
