Play Area Improvements

Cornwood play park was closed for a period of time due to health and safety concerns whilst unsafe play equipment (some of which was 50 years old) was removed. This has left just one slide and three swings. The Parish Council has tried to enhance the area by installing new benches and a picnic table. This project will see the installation of new play equipment and safety surface, to compliment the remaining items. The play structures are made of natural sustainable materials expected to have a lifespan of twenty years or more. It is envisaged that new equipment will encourage greater use and enhance the site considerably
