PLAY HOUSE AND SUN PROTECTION SHELTER

The Aims of the Project are to encourage the healthy development of children/youngsters by providing a safe, and enjoyable environment for outdoor play that encourages children to interact with each other and learn valuable life skills, such as

• language;
• emotions;
• creativity;
• confidence;

The Park, has a junior area and senior area, separated by a gate. This allows younger children to play in their area, looked on by their older sisters/brothers playing in the Senior Area.

In the Junior Area we have had to remove a broken carousel
leaving us sufficient space to install the Playhouse together with a sun protection shelter on the grass area alongside.

The Play House will encourage role play to both stimulate their imagination and help their social development.

The sheltered area will encourage them to sit and interact with each other whilst being protected from the sun. They may also find this useful during the light summer showers and/or to eat their snacks.
