Play Improvements to Netherfield Park

The Netherfield estate, the 2nd most deprived estate in Milton Keynes, has been identified through the landscape strategy and play strategy as having poor provision for play and recreation.
This project aims to involve the local community in designing and improving the park to provide an area for adventure and natural play. It is aimed to dissuade anti-social behaviour and promote and provide a well managed open space for all age groups to enjoy.
The project recognises the important role physical exercise and cognitive development has for children in particular so will provide play areas where children can develop by their involvement in role play, team games,risk taking and other facets of play.
