Play Naturally At Copperas Field

The overall aim of the project is to provide a natural play area aimed at children 8 years and younger. The project will completely transform what was once a derelict, underused and boggy open space into a versatile, accessible green recreation area. The area will have added interest through better access and soft landscaping in the form of trees, plants, benches and signage. Natural play opportunities will encourage children to play creatively – using grassy mounds, tunnels, tall grasses for hide and seek, a gravel area with “stepping logs”, timber weaving poles, bridges and boulders etc.
