Plympton Cricket Club – Nets Refurbishment

The cricket nets were built in 2005 to provide all weather coaching & practice facilities for all club members & members of the community.
The main lanes of the nets are worn & are now in need of major refurbishment.
The applicant wants to appoint a English Cricket Board approved non turf installer to refurbish the nets. They require funds towards the total cost of the refurbishment
The nets are worn & within in a short time the artificial fabric will tear. This will result in damage to the shockpads underneath the top carpet leading to greater damage.
Good all weather practice facilities are essential for sport & are used by children aged 8 to 19, ladies & male members and local schools.
