Pollinator Paths

Pollinator Paths Wandsworth will engage local people in wildlife gardening & build on our growing network of “stepping stones” to help flying pollinators move between the large parks nearby. • Create a good spread of forage between local green spaces to support wildlife in particular flying pollinators in the neighbourhoods • Connect 100 people from 45 households or organisations to 3-5 gardens, increasing community cohesion and participating in community gardening • Foster stronger relationships between neighbours; we will request that residents sign up for planting kits in groups of three, led by a champion volunteer who helps to coordinate • Increased the wellbeing of residents of 45 households through: increased confidence in growing at home; increased connection to nature; increased connection to community • Create a virtual hub to foster enthusiasm for growing and biodiversity • Foster stronger cooperation and relationships between community gardens, residents and local businesses
