Pond Restoration and Creation of Refugia at Wern Ddu Farm

The existing pond will be restored to a state where wildlife will be attracted. Refugia near to the pond will be created to provide protection from predators and areas for hibernation. The nearby woodland will be managed to create dapled light to encourage a diverse understorey to be established. Dormice boxes and nest boxes will be erected to provide shelter for the species. Bird and bat boxes will also be erected
