Ponds, Glades & Woods at Boundary Brook Nature Park

This Project will enable Oxford Urban Wildlife Group to ensure overall balance between one-third open herb-rich grassland, one third shrub layer (principally coppice) and one third high-canopy woodland. The two water table ponds, part of the sites’ freshwater habitats will be improved, increasing viability as wildlife habitats and supporting ecological biodiversity. The project will increase access to, and connection, with nature for local communities and urban populations enhancing awareness, well-being and reducing carbon footprint for those wishing to access nature and be inspired towards sustainable living.
