Pool Piece Village Green Improvement Scheme

To enhance and improve an area of land, known as Pool Piece for a range of community activities. It would become a meeting spot for all residents and visitors and a creative play area for children following consultation the village identified that one of its priorities was to provide a flat area for children to play as well as providing simulating play equipment. In addition to enable activities such as fetes, outside drama/music productions, picnics and to provide soemwhere for general seating and relxation. The current area of land, is too steep which makes access, for push chairs, the elderly of disbaled difficult. We wish to redevelop the area by reshaping the landscape to provide a banked auditorium feature and an area of flat land for play, village games and activities. This will improve access and increase usage. We will also create a more environmentally friendly, attractive area by adding a range of plants and flowers to encourage insects and birds.
