Poppleton Community Centre

The project looks to improve Poppleton Community Centre by extending the current car park to incorporate the required 2/3 disabled car parking spaces, levelling and re-surfacing the access to the car park which will incorporate a marked footpath as currently the general public who use the Community Centre and its facilities have to walk on the access drive. The works will also improve access to the Centre for disabled members of the community/the elderly/guardians with prams etc.

Works were identified following an access audit of the Centre and its facilities.

The Poppleton Community Centre complex incorporates a sports hall, meeting rooms, toilets, changing rooms, a conservatory, social area, storage facilities, 6 tennis courts, a bowling green, football fields and a playground.

All facilities are available to the general public
