Portgordon Village Hall

We conducted a house to house survey asking about the future of our village hall and the response was to reneovate and refurbish. Subsequently we carried out a feasibility study headed by a local architect and lasting 18 months in which we sought the detailed requirements of the community. During the process we identified an opportunity to build a new hall at approximately the same cost as renovating the old as we are to be given the land. Subsequently we have received planning permission for the new hall without any objection from the village and now need to obtain a building warrant at a cost of £21500, to commence building of the hall.
