Yorkshire Wildlife Trust intends to form a team of young volunteers (aged 16- 25 years) to help deliver improvements to visitor access / facilities and carry out habitat management / enhancement work at Potteric Carr Nature Reserve on a long term basis. These young people will work alongside existing volunteers and will be given the opportunity to learn a variety of practical skills and develop their leadership capabilities, with a view to organising and leading their own practical tasks in Year 2 of the project. Some accredited training will also be offered in aspects of nature reserve management.
