Powfoulis Woodland Improvement Project

Transformation of derilict woodlands and agricultural land into new native and managed woodlands and access routes for the benefit of the local communities and recreational users.

Provision of through footpath addresses missing link in the local footpath network providing a core footpath access project as identified in Falkirk Council’s recent access research and community consultation activities.

The redevelopment of the area will also provide an important woodland resource for wildlife and provide opportunities for additional biodiversity by linking to the adjacent riprarian corridor and exsisting woodland network.
