Practice cricket nets

The current static netting system at Marston Green CC is antiquated and now proves a safety risk to all who use it. It is vital that the facility secures funding for safe, updated and Clubmark approved practice nets, which will attract more of the community to participate and help our existing junior players to improve their skills. Nets are an important feature for all cricket clubs to recruit and retain youth players of all abilities, in order to sustain the future of cricket in our community.

We intend to instruct a specialist company to install a brand new practice net facility with artificial matting for our club and the wider community to enjoy. All of the funding would go to this specific project in which we hope to have ready for the start of spring 2021.
