Preserving rare heathland at decoy Heath

Formerly used for gravel extraction, this site now consists of open water, valley bog, heath and woodland. It is one of the best sites in Berkshire for visitors to view dragonflies and damselflies, but encroaching bracken and silver birch are threatening the fragile habitats they thrive in. This project would ensure that the site was maintained to the highest standards to allow the wildlife to flourish and continue to provide visitors with a wonderful chance ot view the wildlife of the site.
