Preston Areas Woodlands

Historically the woodlands in this project have been misused and neglected. This can be illustrated by the amount of non-native plant species, the lack of age structure, redundant coppice areas and neglected rides. This project will instigate further recovery for these woodlands by tackling some of the major capital works required. The woodlands to be included are Redscar Woods Complex, Willow Farm Wood, Howick Hall Wood and Booth Plantation. To have a real impact this work will be carried out over three years.
