Prestonpans Battlefield

The project area is the site of the battle of Prestonpans which ocurred in 1745 when the highland army of Prince Charles fought the royal troops of King George II. The project seeks to preserve the area and make it attractive to visitors by adding interpretation boards depicting the battle.
